Hi All. Well it has been a rough winter for ice skating so far with lots of warm temperatures mixed with snow here and there. We’ve had enough of a cold stretch to harden the ice, so we’re re-opening the rink today.
The ice conditions are a little bumpy, something we’re planning to address later this week with some fresh water to smooth things out. We’ll post an update once we’ve gotten that done.
If you do skate, please don’t hesitate to grab a shovel and clear the ice if you find snow on it. In addition, please do your best to avoid the liner on the North Side (the ice is very thin at that end until we flood)- cuts in the liner will make it harder to re-use next year!
