We’ve had a great week of skating (with a little warm weather and snow mixed in). We’ve had a lot of people taking advantage of the wonderful outdoor ice- it’s great to see! In addition, after last night’s snow we had a lot of help getting the rink cleared- thank you to everyone who pitched in!
The ice surface is really great on the deeper half of the rink (south side), there is a bit of slush on the shallow end of the rink (the north side). We’ve been doing some light maintenance on the surface and will continue this week. Weather looks cold each night this week, so we’re hopeful we’ll be able to bring some fresh water to the surface to get a fresh coat of ice down.
